Mandatory
Boating Safety Education is a reality for Washington Boaters.
Starting in January 2008, boat operators 20 years old and under will
need to have their cards with them when operating a boat. State Parks
is implementing the process for approval of the Washington
Administrative Code (WAC) that will define how the program will operate.
A one-day
class will be held in Mattawa March 8th, 2008. Enroll by contacting
Theresa Sheets at 509-754-2011 Ext. 468 at the Sheriffs Office,
or by emailing tsheets@co.grant.wa.us

Recreational Vehicles
In the past, Desert Aire Owners
Association has requested all owners wanting to leave their
recreational vehicle on their lot over the winter request permission
by submitting a letter to the Board of Directors. The Owners
Association no longer requires this. Grant County has taken over the
regulation and enforcement of recreational vehicles in Desert Aire.
Please contact Grant County about use of your RV.
